They are stainless so you don’t have to worry about cracks or breaks in the enamel and can store water at a high temperature ensuring an environment that is not conducive to the growth of Legionella and thus protecting the facility from Legionnaires’ Disease.
The secret in the construction of Tank In Tank lies in the fact that the water of the boiler wets the inner stainless tank even at its lowest point, which is not the case with classic water storage boilers with a fixed or removable exchanger which create a warm temperature zone water ideal for the growth of the dangerous Legionella bacteria.
Furthermore, due to the fact that the inner corrugated bucket is suspended freely within the outer one only by its upper part, it is free to move due to contractions and expansions with the result that the salts are broken as they are born. This allows the storage of domestic hot water at a high temperature resulting in a small storage volume being required and being able to produce large quantities of domestic hot water in small and large commercial applications.
