UV disinfection.

Drop Of Water 578897 1280

As for UV technology, it concentrates the power of ultraviolet radiation for the final stage of water disinfection, projecting the UV lamp. The design of each water tank and the specifications of the UV lamp are harmoniously combined and tested to provide maximum, high percentages of healthy water.

Ultraviolet radiation prevents the growth of bacteria by destroying the DNA core thus making them unable (immunize) to reproduce. The UV lamp operates at a frequency of 253.7 nm, which is the most effective radiation against bacteria.

All bacteria and viruses are destroyed by UV radiation much more easily than others.
The ultraviolet technology of the UV device is more effective against all bacteria, including the most persistent pathogens such as e-coli, salmonella, hepatitis, etc.

Research conducted by NSF & WQA confirms that the UV system is highly effective on cryptosporidium.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT EXTRA SEASONAL RADIATION

ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION

Ultraviolet radiation is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than natural light but longer than x-rays

SPECTRUM OF EXTRA-PERIOD RADIATION – VISIBLE LIGHT

The “natural light” that our eyes see forms a small part of the total spectrum.

Natural light extends from the familiar blue, green, yellow, orange, red. Red light is the faintest of natural light colors and blue is the most vivid.

Beyond the red light spectrum there are also ultraviolet “X” and “C” rays

WHAT IS UV?
Ultraviolet radiation is divided into 3 zones:

UVA radiation (320 to 400nm) responsible for summer tanning.

UVB radiation (280 to 320nm) that causes sunburn and skin cancer.

UVC radiation (200 to 280nm) that is absorbed by DNA and causes genetic damage and inactivates bacteria and viruses. It’s called a “germ killer.”

UVC RADIATION.

UV radiation is the most common source of heat in low and medium intensity mercury vapor lamps.

The energy is emitted at 253.7 nm and has been shown to be the most effective light beam against bacteria.
